Wyoming Food For Thought Project

The Wyoming Food for Thought Project recently announced the return of their Winter Market season, beginning on March 13.

The trail ends at the Food for Thought Project at the former Winter Memorial Presbyterian Church, 900 Saint John St.

Tis the season for helping Casper kids – as the Stuff The Van Toy Drive returns for year #23 - December 14th through the 19th.

For the past nine years, the Wyoming Food for Thought Project has been hosting their annual 'Birds & Bucks' Food Drive to help Casper families in need around the holidays. This year, Casper's generosity shined as the 'birds and bucks' raised went to help 400 local families.

Just about everything has been different this year due to the ongoing pandemic. Casper's annual Birds and Bucks collection will be happening as it is a vital part of helping those in our area who have hunger needs.

The Casper Rotary Club's 21st Annual Duck Derby is set for Saturday, August 22. The event will be a little different this year to adhere to local safety guidelines due to the pandemic.

We live in a time when there is great concern about public safety due to the COVID-19 (Caronavirus). To protect their many volunteers and partners, Wyoming Food For Thought has moved their upcoming city-wide food drive online.

Donations are accepted from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m. each day through Saturday, Dec. 21.

Wyoming Food for Thought Project needs your help stocking the shelves for the targeted 4,800 meals to go out every weekend during the school year.
