Governor Gordon announced on Friday that he is exercising his veto authority on Senate File 131 - Prohibition of unsolicited ballot forms.

The bill affirms 3% pay raises for U.S. troops and authorizes more than $740 billion in military programs and construction.

Gordon and a substantial majority of the Wyoming Legislature are Republicans.

Democrats are planning to introduce a resolution disapproving of the declaration once Congress returns to session and it is likely to pass both chambers.

With about 4,000 wells proposed in an expansion of that project, it's likely that Badwater would see much greater volumes of discharged water.

The Legislature failed to override Mead's veto of cuts affecting the three agencies.

He also vetoed the Wyoming Water Development Commission budget, which also has come under scrutiny.
