As the University of Wyoming faces scrutiny, questions about single-sex spaces and student rights are taking center stage.

The complaint was filed in July. Civil rights complaints take between four months and several years to resolve.

The Wyoming Schools have been named as Blue Ribbon Schools by the U.S. Department of Education.

The National Blue Ribbon School Award goes to University Park Elementary in Casper and as it happens the school is also celebrating its 50th birthday this year. Listen here,
