Tree lighting

The Bar Nunn Fire Department is presenting their annual Christmas Parade and Tree Lighting on Saturday, December 10, from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

The joy felt by everyone who attended the Holiday Square Tree Lighting event at Conwell Park was contagious, and it reminded us that maybe, just maybe, this season...we can be each others' light.

The City of Casper is hosting its annual Holiday Square Lighting at Conwell Park.

On Saturday, scores of Casper residents descended upon the downtown area for lights, cameras, and a whole lot of action. It was 'Christmas at the Movies' in Casper, and all of the big ones were represented in some way, shape, or form.

The lighted trees will be accompanied by a light show and music that plays on the hour from 5 p.m. to 9 a.m. daily.

There have been some changes in the parade route, and special bus service is planned for the day.

The event will features visits with Santa, an outdoor patio with a food vendor, and free hot cocoa and cookies while supplies last.

If you have a tree that needs to be removed, it could become a holiday centerpiece at David Street Station.
