Motorists should be aware of school zones; obey traffic laws; be vigilant of students walking home from school, pedestrians in crosswalks, and cyclists on the road.

An average of 21 people die each year on this stretch of Wyoming road.

The Wyoming Department of Transportation announced that they are hosting a public open house on Thursday, January 26 from 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. regarding the upcoming project that will replace four interstate 25 bridges, as well as the F Street bridge, over the North Platte River.

The rain that began Tuesday evening turned to snow early Wednesday with temperatures near freezing.

Since the first major snow of the year (on January 4th, 2023), the morning traffic for the drop off at Kelly Walsh High School has been atrocious.

Because of last minute Christmas shopping, 2nd Street in Casper is backed up from Wyoming Boulevard all the way to Country Club Road and beyond.

Casper most definitely does not have bad traffic (especially when compared to large, metropolitan areas like Denver), but during the Christmas season, it does seem like our drivers get more careless.

In my humble opinion, the most dangerous intersection in town, especially around dusk, is Wyoming Boulevard and 2nd Street, and here's why,

No matter how close you ride on another drivers bumper, I can almost 100% assure you that it will not make them go any faster.
