The Cheyenne Frontier Days DUI task force reports a rise in both traffic stops and arrests during CFD 2025 compared to the 2024 Frontier Days Numbers.

According to a department press release, the enhanced traffic safety operation took place over the weekend.

The high volume of traffic complaints prompted the extra enforcement efforts around Casper's schools.

Last week Officer Douglas made 77 school zone stops around NCHS and Centennial Junior High, and issued 103 tickets for traffic violations.

Last week's efforts resulted in 42 stops and 60 traffic violation citations.

The high visibility traffic enforcement areas will rotate around Casper
