Metropolitan Animal Services is a division of the City of Casper’s Police Department and is comprised of the Metro Animal Shelter and Animal Protection Officers.

The Armistice was signed just after 5 a.m., but officials held out six hours to put it into effect out of a sense of poetry — the eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month in 1918.

They were the last remnants of armed group that seized the refuge on Jan. 2 to oppose federal land use policies.
