Financial sextortion occurs when children and teens are coerced into sending explicit images online and extorted for money.

The Laramie Police Department recently took to social media to announce that they are working with the Wyoming Division of Criminal Investigation to investigate a widespread online 'Sextortion' case involving multiple juveniles in Wyoming.

Parents watched the video of Amanda Todd (11/27/96 - 10/10/12) who posted an image and was bullied to humiliation, depression and suicide.
