Casper College has announced that it will be closed tomorrow, Wednesday February 22, due to winter weather.

Oct 13 brought anywhere from 10-18 inches of snow to central Wyoming. Natrona County School District stayed open...and Casperites had lots of opinions about it.

Attendance will be taken. Students who do not attend, log in or participate will be counted as absent.

The Natrona County School District has released a statement, informing the public that all NCSD Schools and District offices will be open on Wednesday, March 17 but they will have a delayed start of 2 hours.

The school district made the announcement on Sunday afternoon:

The district says school buildings and district facilities will be closed. Bus routes will not run and all district activities have been canceled.

State Superintendent Jillian Balow says it's possible K-12 students won't return to a school building this year because of the coronavirus.

The district had originally announced they would open two hours later than usual, but have now decided to close entirely.

Communication on any closures or affected transportation routes will be sent by text and and phone call to parents and guardians by approximately 5:30am.
