NFL superstar, Josh Allen, was not able to attend Friday night's Pokes game against the Air Force Academy, but his father did sing the National Anthem to open the festivities.

Wyoming Cowboys star quarterback Josh Allen has been in the spotlight for most of his collegiate football career. He's rumored to be the #1 pick in the NFL draft this evening. Unfortunately all of the spotlight on the California native has not been positive.

Allen will train in California for another week and a half before returning to Laramie to prepare for Wyoming's Pro Day on March 23.

The coach says the sports medicine staff on Monday were encouraged by the progress Allen was making during treatment.

Tiller, who coached the Cowboys from 1991-96, died on Sept. 30 in Buffalo, Wyoming. He was 74.
