Casper’s Patriot Day ceremony will take place at the Oregon Trail Veterans Cemetery at 11AM on Sunday, September 11th.

Patriot Day falls on 11th ,also known as ‘Nine-Eleven, and is remembered globally as the anniversary of the catastrophic terrorist attacks on the USA of 11th September 2001. This was the day four jet planes were hijacked and crashed into the New York World Trade Center and the Pentagon in Arlington, Virginia, causing the deaths of 2,977 people...

The memories are fresh for those who lived through Sept. 11, 2001.

The 10th anniversary of 9/11. In order to not conflict with churches who have plans to observe the day with prayers and in other appropriate ways, is the reason this event is being held on the 10th.
