Fall isn't just about hunting. The Wyoming Game and Fish want you to know that fall offers great opportunities for fishing in the fall season throughout the Cowboy state. Walleye fishing at Alcova, Glendo and Pathfinder reservoirs in the Casper Region are expected to be good, especially for bigger fish.

Boaters, recreationists, and irrigators should prepare for changing river flows below the reservoirs and the rapid lowering and refilling of Guernsey Reservoir.

A statement from the Casper- Natrona County Health Department said that harmful cyanobacterial blooms (HCB's) pose a risk to humans, pets, and livestock.

Heading into Thursday, firefighters are preparing for increased fire behavior due to weather and terrain.

The Natrona County Fire District said it will provide updates.

Health officials say such blooms are not unusual this time of year, but can cause health concerns in both humans and animals.

The U.S. Bureau of Reclamation owns the Alcova, Gray Reef and Pathfinder reservoirs and the immediate surrounding shorelines.

According to a crash report from the Wyoming Highway Patrol, one vehicle blew a tire and crossed the centerline, hitting another vehicle in a t-bone style crash.

Near milepost 59, the F-250 failed to maintain its lane of travel and drifted across the centerline into the Explorer's lane, where the two vehicles collided head-on.

Sgt. Aaron Shatto told reporters Thursday spent shell casings from a rifle were found near the site of one explosion.
