In its 18 years of existence in Natrona County, the 'Breaking the Silence' walk has offered survivors of suicide an opportunity to remember their loved ones, to honor them, and to maybe, just maybe, offer them some semblance of peace.
More than 1,000 people -- at least 400 more than last year -- assembled at Crossroads Park to show their support for suicide awareness during the annual "Breaking the Silence" walk along the Platte River Parkway on Saturday.
