Natrona County Fire Protection District

The county may impose additional restrictions on allowed uses in particular areas due to adverse weather, range and fuel conditions.

The Natrona County Fire Protection District was created in 1993 when county residents voted to separate firefighting duties from Natrona County government.

The Natrona County Fire Protection District assisted with the interior firefighting on one structure, and a U.S. Bureau of Land Management fire crew helped extinguish the wildland fire.

The Natrona County Commission is scheduled to approve a fire restriction resolution at its next meeting at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Casper Fire EMS is currently on scene at the bale fill working a significant fire in a wood chip pile, according to a news release Saturday evening.

The Natrona County Fire District and other agencies were battling a fire near Power Line Road near Bar Nunn on Monday afternoon.

No human injuries were reported at a trailer fire west of Casper on Wednesday afternoon, but several dogs may be hurt, a Natrona County Fire Protection District spokesman said.
