The Natrona County Coroner's Office has released the identity of the man found deceased after a standoff in Evansville on Friday night into Saturday.

Courtney added that there were no eye-witness to the shooting.

The investigation is ongoing.

A Casper police officer remains hospitalized after being critically wounded in the same incident.

The Coroner's Office is investigating the cause and manner of death.

Authorities know the identification of the man whose body was found in a snowbank near downtown Wednesday morning, but it will not be released yet, Natrona County Chief Deputy Coroner Wayne Reynolds said Friday.

A Natrona County man died at a shooting range west of Casper on Thursday, according to a news release from the Natrona County Sheriff's Office.
