Making the best bush planes in the world

Known professionally as Laraine Day, the Casper girl became famous for her role in films like "Foreign Correspondent" and "The Locket." She also appeared in television on shows "Playhouse 90" and "Murder, She Wrote."

National Historic Trails Interpretive Center Foundation Executive Director Gena Jensen said the first week of May also coincides with National Travel Tourism Week.

M.L. Bishop was one of the first important men in the Casper area in the late 1800's and early 1900's and his home still stands on 2nd Street.

Their roles ranged from being supply clerks and pharmacist mates to yeoman and flight nurses.

City crews are working on repairs, but a personal visit is the only way to contact the museum for the immediate future.

The museum at Casper is currently open year round.

John Hankla, one of the many donors who put the collection together, says he hopes the bones will inspire future scientists.
