A motorcyclist is dead after driving his bike off a cliff in northwest Wyoming, the highway patrol says.

A Wyoming motorcyclist is dead after being rear-ended southwest of Cody Friday evening, according to the Wyoming Highway Patrol.

A 58-year-old Phoenix, Arizona man is dead after crashing his motorcycle in northeast Wyoming's Crook County.

Police say the crash happened around 4:50 p.m. at the intersection of U.S. Highway 30 and Whitney Road.

Collins was wearing a helmet and leathers, but was thrown from the bike and died at the scene.
