The Health Department says children who have not completed their required vaccinations may be put on conditional enrollment, depending on individual school rules.

Symptoms include high fever, cough, runny nose, watery eyes and a rash.

While measles has not been reported in Wyoming since 2010, over 700 cases of the disease have been confirmed across the country this year.

Measles in the U.S. has climbed to its highest level in 25 years, in a resurgence largely attributed to misinformation that is turning parents against vaccines.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention released the latest numbers Monday.
