An unidentified person reported on the Safe2Tell website at 9:20 a.m. that there was a suspicious person with a weapon near Natrona County High School.

People are being allowed back into the building, according to Lt. Jeremy Tremel.

Police were called to the school around 11:20 a.m. and later determined that a 17-year-old student had shot a window on an unoccupied vehicle.

Officers stayed in the area as school let out.

A domestic disturbance near Miller Elementary School prompted officials to lockdown the school this (Monday) morning.

In an emergency, officers may find themselves stuck outside the school waiting to be let inside. All schools within the district have electronic locks on at least one door.

Natrona County High School and Park Elementary School, in Casper, were placed on a brief lock down Wednesday afternoon.
