The family of Rylee McCollum appeared on Fox News Tuesday Morning to speak about their boy and, in doing so, Rylee's father Jim revealed that he opted not to meet with President Biden.

The family of Lance Corporal Rylee McCollum appeared on Fox News early Tuesday morning to remember and to honor the 20-year-old Wyoming-born Marine, who was killed in the suicide bombing terrorist attack in Kabul, Afghanistan.

It's been one day, a little over 24 hours. In that time, more than $300,000 has been donated to the wife and unborn child of Rylee McCollum, the U.S. Marine from Wyoming who was killed in the suicide bombing terrorist attack that occurred in Afghanistan earlier this week.

President Joe Biden is vowing to expand a U.S. air campaign against the Islamic extremist group whose suicide bomb attack at the Kabul airport killed scores of Afghans and 13 American service members.

Taliban forces have sealed off Kabul’s airport to most Afghans as NATO nations wrap up their evacuation flights out of Afghanistan.

Biden said Thursday he would strike back at the Islamic State group’s Afghanistan affiliate.

He vowed to avenge the deaths, saying the U.S. has some idea of who perpetrated the attack and will hunt them down.

Following the news of his death, many of Wyoming's leaders offered their condolences to the McCollum family, including Senator John Barrasso and Congresswoman Liz Cheney.

U.S. officials said 12 U.S. service members were killed, including 11 Marines and a Navy medic.

Wyoming Congresswoman Liz Cheney appeared on NBC's 'Meet the Press' on Sunday to discuss fallout from President Biden's decision to withdraw troops from Afghanistan.
