Hostage situation

A man held people hostage for more than 10 hours at a Texas synagogue where he could be heard ranting in a livestream and demanding the release of a Pakistani neuroscientist who was convicted of trying to kill U.S. Army officers in Afghanistan.

Police say Solis was holding four people at knifepoint.

The hostage situation at the Aspen Creek building in Casper has ended. The suspect is in custody and no one was hurt.

Prosecutors have charged twenty-year old Jacob Dziewic with one count of Felony Possession of a Firearm, three counts of Felonious Restraint, and one count of Aggravated Assault.
