The city's planning and zoning commission voted unanimously to support the plat and zone change after a public hearing on Aug. 21.

Officers determined no threat had existed toward students or district staff at any time, as the call was a prank.

The school district formed a facility condition and capacity study committee to review facilities with an eye to curbing costs as funding declines.

School district officials met with parents last week to help them with decisions about where to send their children next year.

Natrona County School District officials and Grant Elementary staff and administrators will meet with parents at the school at 6:30 p.m. Monday.
