Four weeks of the 2026 Wyoming girls' prep basketball season are in the books.

The first new basketball rankings in the new year were released on Wednesday with the latest WyoPreps Coaches and Media Basketball Polls.

Most teams did not play, so their record did not change from our last update.

Only a handful of teams are in action during the holiday break.

The 2025-26 campaign starts on Thursday and continues through Saturday around the state.

The WyoPreps Coaches and Media Preseason Poll for girls’ and boys’ basketball provided a possible preview of how things might turn out in March 2026.

These seniors will be playing in their final prep event.

The annual Wyoming versus Montana all-star basketball series returns to the court on Friday and Saturday.
