2023 Weather in Wyoming has been wild, from blizzards to tornadoes.

K2 Radio News reader Tony Cooper has shared this video of a funnel cloud that appeared in Natrona County near Casper Mountain earlier this afternoon.

A funnel cloud appeared near Casper Mountain on Monday afternoon following thunderstorms earlier in the day.

Worland resident Brandon Yule shared the video, which depicts hail raining down in addition to the funnel cloud.

Near the North Platte River, the clouds spin and weave. The layers twist and attempt to form a cone. On the mountain, the green hillside lit by the last light.

Severe storms have been moving through the area this week.

Weather watching is one of my favorite hobbies and I just happened to be in the right spot to catch a funnel cloud about 10 miles west of Cheyenne just off I-80.

UPDATE 5 p.m. Friday: Stew Anderson, the emergency manager for Natrona County, says he has not received any additional information as of yet in regard to Friday's tornado. He has also not received any damage reports. The National Weather Service did not return our phone call...
