Flu Vaccine

The Wyoming Department of Health said that the need for flu shots remains extremely important to help protect Wyoming residents from influenza, despite a relatively quiet flu season last year.

According to Reggie McClinton, surveillance epidemiologist with the Wyoming Department of Health, influenza activity has increased across the state in recent weeks.

Despite shortages being reported throughout much of Casper and the state of Wyoming, health officials in Midwest say they actually have a flu vaccine surplus.
