The state's unemployment rate dropped slightly in the fourth quarter to 4.1 percent, slightly higher than the national rate of 3.8 percent.

Wyoming has lost 6,500 residents since 2015, the biggest drop since the years following the 1980s oil bust.

The lowest unemployment rates were found in Teton at 2.2 percent, and Crook and Goshen at 3.1 percent.
