A Cheyenne daycare operator is facing up to 20 years in prison after a jury found her guilty of involuntary manslaughter in the swaddling death of an 8-month-old girl.
The Wyoming Department of Family Services announced on Thursday that funds provided by the CARES Act, as part of the Wyoming Child Care Relief Program, have been expended and that the program is now closed.
A jury has found 37-year-old Mishawnna Jennings not guilty of child abuse in District Court. The verdict was announced shortly after 5:30 p.m. Friday evening.
