In a June 21 letter to the Wyoming Department of Audit, Midwest's mayor said the town agreed with its recommendations to fix the problems.

Marrolyce Wilson resigned as the mayor of Mills the day after she told a Wyoming Division of Criminal Investigation agent about the property purchase.

The case against Marrolyce Wilson arose during an investigation of Lisa Whetstone, the former treasurer/clerk of the Town of Mills starting January 2015.

Natrona County District Attorney Mike Blonigen declined to comment on the terms of the plea, saying they may change between now and March 3.

The former Mayor of Mills is accused of skirting the town council's authority to obtain property, telling a town employee not to let investigators into town hall, and having a liquor license when she wasn't supposed to.
