"This isn't about making us feel good," Ladd stated. "But it does, ya know? To be able to make that child feel special and to feel like they're taken care of, but hopefully also to communicate to the parent or guardian that there's an entire community here that really, truly, cares about them; it does mean a lot to us."
The stockings were hung by the chimney with care. So, too, were the paintings, the snowflakes, the photos, and so much more. ART 321's Holiday Art Market took place on Saturday and the general public turned out in droves to get some of their Christmas shopping done early.
It's the hap- happiest season of all, with those holiday greetings and gay happy meetings when friends come to call...and friends will certainly be coming to ART 321's 'Happy Holiqueer' Community Christmas Cookie Decorating party.
This year's event is happening on Saturday, December 4 at the Clarion Inn. Doors will open at 5pm for a Happy Hour, and Hors-d'oeuvres will be served at that time as well.
