The 30th Annual API Chili Cookoff took place on Saturday and, altogether, it raised more than $170,000 for local charities and non-profit organizations.
There was chili, of course. And there was beer. Oh, there was beer. At the 29th Annual API Chili Cookoff, held at the Ford Wyoming Center on Saturday, February 19, 2022 there was everything that makes Wyoming great - all under one roof.
All proceeds will be used to purchase food supplies for the Natrona County Meals On Wheels' program which currently serves about 450 clients every day.
With over 3500 people thru the doors of the Casper Events Center this past Saturday, it could easily be argued that this years API Chili Cook Off was an unqualified success.

The Central Wyoming Chapter of the American Petroleum Institute is proud to host the 24th Annual A.P.I. Chili Cook-Off to be held February 20, 2016 from 11am-2pm at the Casper Events Center. The homecoming celebration at Casper College's Swede Erickson Thunderbird Gymnasium Saturday afternoon and evening costs just a dollar to get in the door, and that includes a serving of chili.
