Forecasters are still hashing out some of the details, but it looks like a blast of winter weather is headed our way.

Southeast Wyoming faces a variety of weather warnings and advisories for this weekend.

A Frost Advisory is issued when the minimum temperature is forecast to be 33 to 36 degrees on clear and calm nights during the growing season.

Turning cooler Saturday and Sunday behind a Pacific cold front.

A cooling trend is expected later in the week with rain and even some snow possible.

Total snow accumulations of 5 to 10 inches are expected, with local amounts up to 12+inches possible beneath heavier bands.

Gusty winds on Thursday may also result in reduced visibility in blowing snow with the fresh snowpack.

Just for reference, wind speeds of 74 miles per hour are generally considered to be hurricane-force winds.

Expect light to moderate snow with total snowfall accumulations of 5 to 12 inches.

The Cheyenne Office of the National Weather Service says at least two locations recorded wind speeds of 70 miles per hour or greater on Sunday.
