The Kelly Walsh Trojans played their hearts at this weekend, but unfortunately, so did Cheyenne East, which is why they came out on top in a hard fought game. The final score of 62-44 should have no bearing on how hard both teams worked.
As State Basketball kicks off, the NC girls continue to remain undefeated, as they picked off Cheyenne East with relative ease, beating them 64-36. Despite the score, it was a hard fought win, and the Cheyenne East girls have nothing to be ashamed of. The Fillies, however, have everything to be proud of. They worked hard, they played hard, and they won…hard.
With one game standing in between the Mustangs and the championship finals in Laramie, NC took on Cheyenne East in their final home game of the season. Fans came out to show their support and to will the Mustangs to a win.
Trojan fans of all ages turned out on Friday night to witness KW take on Cheyenne East in the former's home opener. It was a hard fought game that the Trojans lost, but they did not lose the support of the crowd, as these pictures can attest to.
