The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints has announced Casper, Wyoming as the location for its newest temple.

The Wyoming Department of Health reported 541 new cases of COVID-19 in the last 24 hours, bringing the statewide total to 40,554. 55 new cases were reported for Natrona County, leaving the current number of active cases in Natrona County at 139.

The Wyoming Department of Health reported 406 new cases of COVID-19 in the last 24 hours, bringing the statewide total to 39,882. 41 new cases were reported for Natrona County, bringing the current number of active cases in Natrona County to 156.

Though Wyoming is still in Phase 1A, Phase 1B vaccination priorities have been established and are generally being described to include people who are 70 years of age or older, as well as other frontline essential workers who interact with the public on a daily basis and are unable to consistently distance themselves from others.

The Wyoming Department of Health reported 102 new cases of COVID-19 in the last 24 hours, bringing the statewide total to 37,720. 7 new cases were reported for Natrona County, leaving the current number of active cases in Natrona County at 195.

The Wyoming Department of Health reported 163 new cases of COVID-19 in the last 24 hours, bringing the statewide total to 36,700. For the second day in a row, no new cases were reported for Natrona County in the last 24 hours, leaving the current number of active cases in Natrona County at 189.

22 new deaths have been reported by the Health Department, bringing the total number of Wyoming deaths to 373. Of these deaths, 78 have occurred in Natrona County. 4 of those deaths occurred in the last 24 hours

“As a parent, it means a lot,” she said with tears in her eyes. “You struggle to try and give your kids everything and then, when you can’t give them something on Christmas, it breaks your heart. To be able to have an opportunity to get that, and then you don’t have to feel like a bad parent, it’s amazing. It’s a great feeling.”

The Wyoming Department of Health reported 410 new cases of COVID-19 in the last 24 hours, bringing the statewide total to 36,392. 26 new cases were reported for Natrona County in the last 24 hours, leaving the current number of active cases in Natrona County at 183.

30 new deaths have been confirmed by the Health Department over the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of Wyoming deaths to 351. Of these deaths, 74 have occurred in Natrona County.
