On Friday, September 2, 2022, at approximately 3:20 AM, a call was received at the Public Safety Communications Center regarding a gunshot victim. The victim reported having been shot by an assailant in an alley of East K Street between North Durbin Street and North Wolcott Street, according to a news release from the Casper Police Department.
The Casper Police Department has put out a press release regarding an officer who "discharged their weapon, resulting in a non-life-threatening injury" to a suspect in a domestic violence investigation on May 30.
Police say the suspects told officers that they began shooting in the downtown area before making their way to the area of South Walsh Drive and Swanton Avenue.
No arrests yet following the incident Saturday night involving gunfire and a person being struck with a vehicle. The altercation left one man in the hospital.
