It's unsure when COVID-19 cases will peak in Wyoming and the Casper Area, the Natrona County health officer said Wednesday.

The new case, along with their immediate household members, is self-quarantining.

Masks can be made from a number of household items and materials for cheap.

The cases were reported Wednesday morning.

A Casper-Natrona County Health spokeswoman on Monday said community spread of coronavirus within the county cannot be ruled out.

The patient is self-quarantining along with immediate household members.

As of noon Thursday, there are 53 positive cases in Wyoming with six of those being in Natrona County.

It is the second reported case in Natrona County and Wyoming's 29th.

Bloom also said medical professionals nationwide are short of personal protective equipment such as face masks, gowns and gloves.

Tomorrow, a Natrona County Health Officer will provide more information on testing, Bloom said.
