Casper Mountain Fire Department

Those who seasonally occupy a residence on Casper Mountain should check their homes and property when possible and file a report if theyhave been burglarized.

The prescribed burn happens annually.

Lt. Stewart Anderson of Natrona County Emergency Management says there are 6 fires in the area including one on Casper Mountain.

The Casper Mountain Fire Department has been called to put out a lot of unattended camp fires in Rotary Park and other campgrounds on Casper Mountain.

It cost a lot to fight the sheep herder hill fire a couple of months ago, and some volunteers wanted to help fire crews recover from the experience.

The Casper Mountain Fire Department has been given a thermal imaging camera that will help in fire prevention and rescue.
