Casper Aquatic Center

At the Casper city council meeting on Tuesday, the council heard from Zulima Lopez, Parks, Recreation, and Public Facilities Director, on how the city pools could operate with a lower subsidy.

According to a press release by the city of Casper, the Casper Family Aquatic Center will be closed for the foreseeable future due to a power outage.

At the outdoor facilities, cleaning breaks will also occur every two hours, but the public can remain at the facility while maintaining six feet of distance between each other.

The extent of the damage is unknown, but some of it is apparent from the street.
