The Natrona County School District has not been as open in communicating incidents such as threats as it could have been, a spokeswoman said.

The revised policy is part of the district's overall comprehensive safety plan.

The policy seeks, among other things, to clarify definitions of bullying, harassment, and intimidation and to make policies uniform across the District.

District board members announced in February that they planned to review the bullying policy, which was last revised in 2013.
