The family of a 15-month-old boy is suing Cheyenne Regional Medical Center, alleging the hospital's negligence caused the toddler's death.

Two days have been set aside for the hearing, which is scheduled to begin Nov. 28.

An initial investigation did not lead to charges, but the case remained open with the Wyoming Division of Criminal Investigation.

A 24-year-old Cheyenne man could face 25 to 70 years in prison for the death of his girlfriend's two-year-old son.
