Saturday was a miserable day for travel in and around Casper, but that didn't deter hundreds of bowlers from showing up and having a great time at the annual Bowl for Jason's Friends fundraiser at El-Mark-O lanes.

For the 15th straight year, Lisa Eades and the volunteers at the Jason's Friends Foundation are hosting their annual "Bowl For Jason's Friends", set for Saturday, February 23rd. This event brings together Casper's community for 12 straight hours of food, fun, and the opportunity to help out a fantastic cause...

I'm reminded of how proud I am of my town, and the people that live in it, when I witness events like Bowl For Jason's Friends. People from all over Casper offer their time, money, and mad bowling skills to the Jason's Friends Foundation, an organization created to help families financially, and emotionally, when they have a sick child.

On February 26th, almost 1,000 bowlers came out to show their support, and their bowling skills, for the Jason's Friends Foundation.
