Currently Audubon is working to band more of an elusive little forest owl known as the Northern Saw-whet to determine how large their population is and learn more about their migratory patterns. Pictured below, Hutchinson is using a technique he has dubbed "the snow-cone hold." He says that once you've got them in your hand, they're pretty chill.
