The University Of Wyoming Board Of Trustees has approved a number of regulation changes that outline how the university would respond to any future, significant reduction in its budget.
The plan will focus on student recruitment, retention and graduation, remotely offered degree programs, increased collaboration with the state’s community colleges and k-12 schools, research funding and private contributions to the university.
When operational, the project will be capable of generating up to 3,000 megawatts of power -- enough to power nearly one million homes, according to a BLM news release.
