"Totality: The American Eclipse" is available on Amazon and features many Casper residents and places.

Media representatives tell Wilcox they are looking for the reactions from the first-timers, the people who drove 12 hours for a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

Local and state governments agencies and health care organizations are preparing for 35,000 people expected to visit Casper for the eclipse on Aug. 21.

Festival organizers will conduct an information and training session in early August.

Center Street, and other north-south streets will be open on Aug. 21. However, Second Street from Beech Street to Ash Street downtown will be closed to traffic.

This is the first total eclipse in the United States since 1979. This one will track through the entire country including all of Wyoming.

The news release said Anna Wilcox has more than 16 years of experience in event planning and management.
