Affordable Health Care Act

It seems that in a gathering of Wyoming people who are watching what is happening in Washington, more than a few of them are scratching their heads about the bonuses being touted for the modest accomplishments of the executives of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac.

Since last July Wyoming residents struggling to find health insurance that covers preexisting conditions have had  a new option. R.J. Ours, for the American Cancer Society's, Cancer Action Network, wants Wyomingites to know about this federal program.

Creation of a health insurance marketplace for Wyoming is in progress. What form it takes is the task of a committee that met Thursday  in Casper. Listen Here:

Proponents of the Affordable Health Care Act are took time on Wednesday, one year after the act was signed, to remind the public of benefits already being felt, especially in rural states like Wyoming. Two pieces of proposed legislation will be introduced at next months general session of the Wyoming Legislature, both look to secure the rights of Wyoming Citizens to choose whether they buy health insurance or not.
