A winter storm warning is in effect from 9 p.m. this evening to 9 a.m. Friday.

The National Weather Service in Cheyenne has issued a Winter Storm Warning for snow and blowing snow for southeastern Wyoming, which is in effect from 9 p.m. this evening to 9 a.m. Friday. The Winter Storm Watch posted earlier is no longer in effect.

Three to seven inches of snow is possible with locally higher amounts possible.

North winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 45 mph are expected. Visibilities may be reduced to one quarter of a mile at times in falling and blowing snow.

Travel will be especially impacted, due to icy, snow packed roads and low visibility with falling and blowing snow.
