The Natrona County Sheriff's Office is investigating the alleged theft of five guns valued a nearly $3,000 taken from a residence in Bar Nunn, according to an offense report filed Saturday.

The victim, who lives on Absaroka Trail, reported five pistols were missing from the residence. They were taken sometime between Thursday and Saturday, according  to the report.

The pistols are a Smith and Wesson AirLite .38 special valued at $800, a FEG PA-63 9x18 Makarov valued at $300, a Ruger Security Six .357 Magnum valued at $450, a Taurus Model 94 .22 caliber valued at $350, and a Smith and Wesson Model 629 .44 Magnum valued at $1,000.

The case is being investigated as an aggravated burglary, because weapons were involved in the burglary.

Sheriff's Sgt. Aaron Shatto said Monday there have been no arrests in the case.
