The Northern Arapaho Endowment Scholarship Committee is accepting applications from full-time students for scholarship awards at the University of Wyoming. The scholarships are for the 2013 Summer Session and the 2013-2014 academic year.

The deadline to submit applications is Friday, March 1.

All application packets must be complete at the time of submission to UW. Previous recipients are required to reapply for continued support. Funding for the scholarships is provided by an endowment created at UW in 1987 by the Northern Arapaho Tribe and the state.

Northern Arapaho Endowment scholarships cover tuition and mandatory fees, a book allowance, a subsistence allowance and, for those with legal dependents, a dependents' allowance. Traditionally, five or more awards are given each year.

The scholarships are available to enrolled Northern Arapahos seeking a graduate degree, a bachelor's degree or a certification to retain a current position. Undergraduates should have junior or senior class status at the time the scholarship is used.

Applicants are asked to describe their involvement in American Indian activities and to explain how they plan to use their education to benefit the Northern Arapaho people.
