Cancer Survivor Day hosted by Rocky Mountain Oncology Center is designed to foster encouragement and camaraderie among survivors, and this Friday the annual event comes back around.

Event Spokesperson and RMOC Foundation Director, Eileen Ford says last year it was a western theme and this year its a Luau, "but ya know the message in the theme and the spirit is always the same, which is basically a day to gather and celebrate life, celebrate the courage, the bravery and the strength of cancer survivors their families and their care givers."

The free event includes a barbecue and music courtesy Amy Gieske & Cory McDaniel.

It's from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. this Friday June 1st at the Rocky Mountain Oncology Center facility, located at 6501 E. 2nd Street in Casper.
