Wyoming’s Easter Weather Forecast Is A Little CRAZY
It's spring out West.
That means the weather has lost its mind, as it usually does this time of year.
Spring is the wettest time for states like Wyoming.
It's where we get most of our moisture for the year.
Easter Weekend into next week will be no different.
If you're wondering, will it be sunny? Windy? Rainy? Snowy?
The answer is YES!
You know the old joke out in this part of the country,
Don't like the weather, wait five minuets.
Below is Don Day's forecast for Easter weekend, which he calls "MESSY."
As Don Day of Day Weather has explained several times this week, 'you can drive across Wyoming and be dry for a half hour, then hit rain, or snow just around the corner, and then suddenly be back in sunny and clear.'
Plan on getting a little bit of everything over the next few days with the worst of it, whatever it is for your area, arriving Saturday night into Sunday morning.
This is great news for those who live out in the plains area.
The plains of Wyoming, the Dakotas, and Nebraska have missed out on most of this winter's snow.
But they are having a wet spring. That's very good news.
As usual, don't put much faith in those weather apps on your phone. They are computer algorithms that take the numbers they are given and try to make a prediction.
They are a good guide as to what the trend might be, but they do not show exactly what is going to be.
The moral of the story for your Easter weekend is to be ready for a little of everything.
