Year after year, Kelly Walsh has presented an excellent 4A volleyball team and this year will be no different. They return a host of starters that placed 4th at the State Tournament in 2023, ringing up 27 wins. One of the returning starters is senior Kendal Allaire who was an All-State selection a year ago plus, 2 All-Conference players in Lillian Hudson and Gia Ireland. Throw senior Jordan Kroeger into that group and the Trojans have a hard-hitting team that few teams can match.

KW went 5-1 in the Gillette Tournament last week beating St. Thomas More from Rapid City, Sheridan, and Wright. Then on Saturday the Trojans downed a good Douglas team from 3A, lost to Laramie 2 sets to one, and then beat Cody 2 sets to none for 3rd place in the gold bracket

This program won the 4A State Championship in 2022 and finished 2nd in 2021 and 2020. They're built to win every season and they'll be a group to watch as the season progresses. We talked with Kendal Allaire and Lillian Hudson after their win over Douglas on Saturday and needless to say, hopes are high.
